Learning
Board and staff members learn about the key success factors that must be present to be a highly accountable organization. Participants have an opportunity to engage in a discussion using the key questions about accountability.

Interactive three-hour workshop
A shared understanding about what needs to be in place to be accountable.
Action Plan Generation
Reflection
Board and staff individually reflect on the extent to which the organization demonstrates the critical success factors.

Complete an online reflection tool which takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
Honest feedback about the accountability activities within the organization.
Interpretation
Board and staff members participate in a facilitated discussion using the feedback from the reflection tool as a starting point. Participants explore the accountability performance against the success factors and celebrate areas of strength and identify areas for improvement.

Two-hour facilitated session
Shared understanding and consensus about what is working and areas for improvement. Generate excitement about the potential for improved accountability.
Design
Stakeholders create a realistic and practical action plan to celebrate success and move to higher levels of accountability.
The facilitators lead participants through a 1 -3 hour process to develop an Action Plan.
Specific goals to improve the levels of accountability identified. Creative strategies and tactics based on best practices generated. Demonstrate to community partners and funders that the organization is committed to accountability.
